Bar Bending for Footing Done – Minor QA Issue Flagged by Audit Team, Steel in Order, All Columns Checked On-Site May-31-2025

Date: 31-MAY-2025

The bar bending work resumed this weekend with steady momentum, though we faced a minor shortage of 8mm steel—6 bundles. Fortunately, 8 bundles of 10mm steel arrived yesterday evening, allowing the work to proceed without major delays.

With all 10 pillars now in place, both Anil’s team and the Brick & Bolt team conducted a thorough inspection of the columns. These were cross-verified with the original layout markings made during the footing and column marking stages

Site validations were carried out with a focus on precision:

- Dhananjay (mastrie of mastri – head mason)

- Uday (site engineer from HomeSquadz)

- Prashant (site engineer from Brick & Bolt)

Each of them ensured alignment and accuracy using millimeter precision, validating every column before the bar bending team signed off on their scope.

First Project Visit by Project Manager Ibhrahim, the Project Manager, made his first site visit as part of the Customer Delight initiative. We had a productive discussion about progress, team coordination, and the steps ahead.

Quality Audit Update – Bar Bending & Site Checkpoints (31st May)

As part of the ongoing structural work, a detailed quality check was conducted on 31st May. The following four key checkpoints were reviewed by the b&b audit team:

Completed Checks:

1.Cover Blocks – Provided and fixed in a systematically correct manner.

2.Column Cage Plumb – Verified and passed.

3.Diameter & Spacing of Longitudinal Bars & Lateral Ties – Confirmed as per structural drawings.

⚠️ Check In Progress (Flagged by Central Audit Team from B&B)

4. Diameter of Main Bars (both directions) & Spacing – This point did not meet the audit expectations and is currently marked In Progress. The audit team flagged this due to mismatch in spacing or possible deviation from structural drawings.

The open snag is being tracked until it is fully resolved.

We appreciate the vigilance from the audit team – this is helping us ensure quality and structural integrity at every stage.

Next Update: Closure of the open snag and RMC Footing Pour Scheduled

Despite it being a Sunday(JUN 1st), the teams continued to show great commitment. At 2 PM, Anil notified the RMC supplier for the footing concrete pour, and Prashant will be present onsite to oversee the activity.

The energy and dedication on-site are truly commendable!
