Staircase, Lintel & Upcoming First Floor Work

We are currently in the “Column rising and blockwork up to lintel level for the ground floor” phase, scheduled from 21st June to 5th July 2025. The stage is currently completion, with steady progress across key activities.
🏗️ Progress:
•Staircase & Lintel Shuttering.
•Blockwork Base Course.
•Blockwork up to Lintel Level.
•Centering Work - Sunday Holiday (Today) 
Resume on Monday: Activities will pick up from Monday with preparations for lintel casting
Upcoming Activities:
•Lintel Casting – Targeted for completion by next week First Floor Moulding Work – Planned to begin right after lintel casting

✨ On-Site Optimization: Entrance Height Adjustment:
The original design had a 6-feet entrance height due to the staircase landing. However, based on a practical recommendation from the head mason (Dhananjay) and site engineer’s review (Uday and Prashant), we increased it to a 7-foot clearance. This eliminates headroom issues and allows smoother access, demonstrating the proactive ownership and care taken by every stakeholder involved in the project.

Choosing the Right Sump Tank Size for My Home – A Thoughtful Decision

As we begin building our dream home in BSK 6th Stage, 4th Block, one of the earliest and most important choices we made was about the sump tank size. It might seem like a small decision in the grand scheme of things, but water is such a basic necessity—it deserves thoughtful planning We are a family of 4 to 5 people, and I wanted to make sure we had enough water storage to last comfortably for at least 12–15 days, even during dry spells or BWSSB delays. After some thinking and observing how things work in Bangalore, I decided on a 8,000-litre sump. This is a practical size—tankers like Tata 709 and tractors that commonly deliver water in this area usually carry around 6,000–7,000 litres, so this capacity fits well.
