Curing Underway, Tweaks in Progress as Column Work Begins and First Floor Advances

Following the successful completion of the ground floor slab moulding, we’ve entered the next critical phase of the project. Curing of the ground floor slab is currently in progress, ensuring long-term strength and structural integrity. This stage is vital to prevent shrinkage cracks and maintain the overall quality of the concret
In parallel, Electrical Plumbing Lines Minor Adjustment  and design tweaks as per on-site requirements — aligning them with the real-time practicalities we’ve observed post-slab work. These adjustments will help ensure a smoother transition into the next floors without delays.
Column raising is underway, and the formwork for the first-floor slab is being prepped, targeting the lintel casting stage The alignment, rebar tying, and staging activities are being closely monitored to maintain precision and safety as we scale upward.
🔜 Completed Tasks:
Blockwork Base Course (14th July): Preparation of base masonry and layout marking for wall lines.
Blockwork up to Lintel (17th–23rd July): Construction of external and internal partition walls to the specified lintel height.
We are closely monitoring material quality (blocks, bonding agents, jointing mortar) and ensuring vertical plumb and level alignment to keep within tolerance.
Stay tuned as we move toward first floor lintel casting and the next major formwork cycle. For visual updates and more technical breakdowns, keep following brick and tech our blog.
