First Floor Column & Lintel Cast Completed — Ready for Concrete Pour

Following our previous update (Curing underway – tweaks in progress), we’ve made significant progress on the first-floor structure.

✅ Column casting, centering, shuttering, bar bending, and electrical conduit works for the first floor are now fully completed.
✅ Staircase and cut lintel beams have been casted and cured as per design requirements.
✅ Multiple beams, including load distribution beams and concealed conduit beams, are in place. Notably, one beam has been modified to include a concealed pass-through for the staircase wiring leading to the second floor — a design-efficient tweak.
 Additional Enhancements and checklist

° Cover blocks have been provided across the first floor moulding, which were not used on the ground floor. This will ensure consistent concrete cover and improved durability.

° Water arrangements are in place: The sump tank was refilled to full capacity the day before and will be used during the concrete mix.

° Water pump functionality was tested last night, and a backup source is also arranged to avoid any disruption.

°All materials for the concrete pour — including M-sand, jelly (aggregates), and rock — have been stocked in advance. Only the cement delivery is pending, expected to arrive fresh stock this morning.

° We are now all set for the first floor slab concrete pour, with all checks and preparations in place to ensure a smooth operation and maintain the build quality.

Stay tuned for further updates as the slab casting progresses happening today.
