My Experience with Ordering Tiles from IBO.com
I recently placed multiple orders for home building materials on IBO.com, including tiles. While the website promises delivery within 4 hours, my experience turned out quite different.
After placing the order, the delivery took nearly 10 days — far from what was advertised. When the tiles finally arrived, two boxes were damaged even before unloading. I immediately informed the IBO team and the assigned SPOC. They assured me that a refund would be processed, but to date, nothing has been received.
Poor Customer Support Experience
The website and WhatsApp support experience have been disappointing. Their WhatsApp bot routes issues to an agent, who typically says someone will call back — but the issue never gets resolved. After a few hours, I receive a WhatsApp message stating that the ticket has been “resolved and closed”, even though nothing was actually fixed.
Despite multiple follow-ups through calls and WhatsApp, none of the refund or replacement requests have been resolved.
Summary
IBO.com advertises fast delivery and reliable support, but in my experience:
•Delivery took over more than 8 days.
•Damaged tiles were not replaced or refunded.
•Customer support closed tickets without solving them.
•No email or proper escalation channels exist.
As a customer, I expected better transparency and accountability. Hopefully, IBO.com improves its after-sales and customer service process soon. ⭐ 1 Star Review

Overall, this experience with IBO helped me understand how online tile ordering works in reality. While the platform looks promising on paper, factors like delivery timelines, handling, and post-order support play a critical role in construction projects. For items as sensitive as tiles, even small delays or damages can impact the entire work schedule and wash of money.
This experience became an important learning before moving ahead with further tile selections.
