Curing is being carried out diligently using 1HP Sharp water pump, ensuring uniform hydration across all vertical elements. On average, curing is being done 4 times a day to maintain proper moisture levels and avoid surface cracks. M25 grade concrete was used for column casting with a 0.5 water-cement ratio to ensure durability and structural strength Brick Masonry Begins Today, first-level brick masonry work has been completed above the plinth beam. Concrete Blocks are being used to ensure uniformity and strength. Mortar mix used: 1:6 ratio (cement:sand), complying with standard construction norms. Soil Backfilling After Footing – Solid Settlement in Progress (June 6–9)

Image
On June 6, we completed the soil backfilling work after footing with the help of a JCB . This critical step ensures ground stability and sets the stage for the next phase of construction. To initiate soil settlement, we released 11,000 liters of water from the tank into designated settlement pits across all quadrants of the site. This water release supports natural compaction of the soil after backfill. ๐Ÿ’ง Important Milestone : Over the weekend, we filled water in the sump for the first time. Post this activity, we’ve been closely observing the soil behavior. Settlement is still in progress, and early signs are promising. ๐Ÿ‘ท‍♂️ Site Vigilance: During backfilling near the water sump, our mason kept a close watch to avoid any cracks or weak points — especially in the sump zone where even a small gap could lead to repair chaos later. ๐Ÿ›ก️ Safety First: A big shoutout to Anil Kumar  Brick & Bolt Contractor and for ensuring temporary guardrails are in place — safegua...

Deshuttering of Footing & Pedestal Completed (June 4th) | Curing in Progress

Image
As of June 4th, the deshuttering of the footing and pedestal was completed successfully. Initially, the curing phase was being tracked only for the sump tank. However, with progress on the structural front, curing tasks have now been expanded to include footings and pedestals as well. Before deshuttering: After deshuttering : B&B has enhanced oversight by assigning daily curing responsibilities to the contractor via the app. These are now mandatory across multiple components of the site. The contractor is required to : ✅ Conduct curing three times daily (morning, afternoon, evening) ✅ Upload videos for each curing session ✅ Ensure geo-tagging is active, restricted to the construction site radius This ensures concrete gains optimal strength and reduces the risk of shrinkage cracks. ๐Ÿงฑ Curing Guidelines (Now for Multiple Structures) - Use clean water consistently. - Keep concrete surfaces moist for at least 7 days. - Avoid water stagnation near footings and su...

Sunday Morning Site Vibes – Blessings and All Set for RMC Pour!

Image
Started the day super early today on-site – before the regular work hours kicked in. The sump area, which had its chicken mesh and inner wall placements completed by the team yesterday, was up next for curing. Since today's major work was only scheduled to start around 2 PM (Sunday), I decided not to waste the quiet morning. My partner and I took the opportunity to get the water flow going, and personally ensured curing was underway. There’s something peaceful about early site work . While we done with curing the sump and started for morning walk we had a surprise visit – a Naga Sadhu and a few Swamijis arrived on site on XUV , unannounced. Their presence and interaction brought a moment of calm and positivity. We took their blessings – felt like a good omen before a major concrete pour! ✅ Summary: -  Plastering for Sump -Sump curing done early morning -Chicken mesh and wall placing completed -Surprise blessing from a Naga Sadhu and Swamiji (UP-registered ...

Bar Bending for Footing Done – Minor QA Issue Flagged by Audit Team, Steel in Order, All Columns Checked On-Site May-31-2025

Image
Date: 31-MAY-2025 The bar bending work resumed this weekend with steady momentum, though we faced a minor shortage of 8mm steel—6 bundles. Fortunately, 8 bundles of 10mm steel arrived yesterday evening, allowing the work to proceed without major delays. With all 10 pillars now in place, both Anil’s team and the Brick & Bolt team conducted a thorough inspection of the columns. These were cross-verified with the original layout markings made during the footing and column marking stages Site validations were carried out with a focus on precision: - Dhananjay (mastrie of mastri – head mason) - Uday (site engineer from HomeSquadz) - Prashant (site engineer from Brick & Bolt) Each of them ensured alignment and accuracy using millimeter precision, validating every column before the bar bending team signed off on their scope. First Project Visit by Project Manager Ibhrahim, the Project Manager, made his first site visit as part of the Customer Delight initiative...
